Ms. Jenda Hillis

Hello! Welcome to Meridianville Middle School! We are so glad that you chose to share your student with us! Meridianville is an exceptional place! I hope you enjoy your time with us!

I am originally from Tuscaloosa County. I received my undergraduate degree in Education of Students with Hearing Impaired from the University of Montevallo. I continued my education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I received a Masters Degree in Education of Students with Visual Impairments. In 2016, I went back to school and received an administrative certificate in Instructional Leadership. I am currently attending online courses from Liberty University to complete my Ed.D in Educational Leadership. I have enjoyed 18 years as an educator in Madison County Schools. I have served students with special needs in the self-contained setting, and in the general education setting. I am currently beginning my second year in administration as Assistant Principal of Meridianville Middle School.
